The Power of Hardware!

Never under estimate the power of hardware! Give those Kitchen or Bath Cabinets personality by adding some new knobs or pulls. Turn a front door into a warm welcome by adding a fun door knocker or door bell. Make a Powder Bath more elegant by putting a special knob on the door or air vent on the floor. Don't just hang your robe or apron on a rusty old nail hang a whimsical hook. The difference is in the details and hardware is a powerful detail.

Spring is here! When this season roles around I always think how did I accumulate all this stuff? Why is my home looking so drab? Well I am here to help give your home a quick and economical spring makeover. It's just like fashion the accessories make the outfit...well accessories make a house a home.

Spring clean! Yes I know it is a drag, but we all need to do it. Go through all those closets and get rid of anything you have multiples of. I had three laundry baskets why do I need three? Bring the outside in. Pot some plants in your home. If you don't have a green thumb plant some faux plants and no one will know the difference.






A little accent goes a long way. Switch that old dark wood coffee table with a more interesting accent table. This will have you smiling every time you set down your cup of Joe.









Art is in the eye of the beholder. Updating art can change your entire perspective of a space. Go to allposters.com and search for something that makes you happy and feeling the season. I love going to art festivals in the spring/summer seasons to support the local artists. Don't always feel you have to do floral art for spring. You can find some fun and lively pop art and make a space interesting. Mix a modern piece of art in a traditional home and Elle Decor will be knocking at your door. Purchase some unique photo frames and do a photo wall of spring breaks past. Make them black and white for that artistic feel.
