Rwanda Path To Peace Collection

Macy's has partnered with the amazing women of Rwanda to create the "Rwanda Path to Peace Collection". The lovely works of art are handcrafted by Rwandan women. The sale of each exquisite piece provides sustainable income to that artisan. This income can help a mother feed her family and more. I could see a lovely cluster of these baskets adorning a dining room wall or bringing life to a drab shelf. What a wonderful holiday gift for someone special. Check out just a few of the creations and visit Macy's for more info.

Dining Room Round Up

In honor of Thanksgiving I have spent a lot of time thinking about dining rooms. Maybe it's because for some families (mine) this is the first time a year the Dining Room is used. Maybe it has been used, but just not for it's intended purpose. Yes, it's true the Dining Room is a neglected space and sometimes forgotten. In some homes it is even off limits. I have rounded up a few inviting dining space photos to inspire you. These pics are sure to put that dining space to use more often. Enjoy!
